I live in central California, today the weather is gorgeous and I really want to start planting my flower seeds. The majority recommend waiting until 6-8 weeks after the danger of frost.
Is it too early to be planting? I don't want to lose all my seedlings if it frosts again.

I would say to read the instructions first. But, if you can shelter your seedlings and give them the conditions they require, then go for it. I can start growing my seedling in Feb instead of march due to climate change.Make sure you check them daily.
Reply:best to follow the instructions on the package for your zone. For me in the Northeast the ones that can be started indoors, last week in feb then harden them off come spring
Reply:shouldn't u have planted bulbs in autumn?
