We are working on a science fair project and need some type of seeds, (flower, plant, herb) that will sprout within a few weeks. Any ideas?
What type of seeds will grow within a few weeks?
radishes-- I planted mine three days ago and they are up today. Beans are more fun to watch because you can see how the been feeds itself-- if you are old enough, you can write on the bean and watch that, too.

Reply:Any kind of squash, sunflower, cucumbers - especially if you make a tent for each plant. My kids did that at school, and the teacher used bread bags cut in half, turned upside down over each pot. Took about 2-3 days, take off the mini-greenhouse and voila!
Give them lots of sun and in 2 weeks you should have an impressive plant.
