I want to take some flower seeds to the Philippines. If they are in the packages will customs allow this?
i have been bringing seeds bought from home depot and have not encountered any problems yet. the biggest pack i brought was garden grass seeds which grew disappointingly here.
Reply:I have bought flower and vegetable seeds and clumps of grass with no problems at all.
Reply:I think they will if you don't bring it in your handcarry bag. Just leave it in one of your suitcases. Although they detect it, they might not think it'll pose as a threat since you can't access the luggage part of the plane.
Reply:just slip $5 in your passport on your way out to customs.. they wont open your luggage.
Reply:i think they will allow because my mom send us jalopeno and celantro seeds from US and no problem we got it. I think there's no problem as long as it's not indangered plants from the origin, hehehe
Reply:if u put it in like a backpack that ull be carrying around you then theyll check it and prob throw em away but if your carrying a big suitcase they prob wont check it and then ull be good, but i repeat do not put them in a place where your going to have to put it throught the check point thing coz theyll see them with the X-ray and throw them away no matter wat you say
